Seebi's Bear World in See is a large family playground at Medrig Alm and a lovely local attraction for families on a summer holiday in Kappl & See. At around 1,800 metres above sea level, children can discover a giant wooden bear, water features, climbing elements, balancing stations and plenty of space to play, explore and relax. 

Whether it is the destination for a family day out, a break during a day in the mountains or a fun stop after taking Medrigjochbahn cable car up the mountain, the Bear World in See combines activity, nature and mountain views. Children can climb, balance and experiment with water. Or they can discover Seebi the bear while parents take a break at the picnic areas and relaxation spots. 

Seebi's Bear World is located right by Medrigjochbahn mountain station. The play area is just a few steps away. Another bonus: The start and finish area for the Medrig Carts is right next to the Bear World.

Water fun and activity

At Seebi's Bear World, children can play freely, try new things and discover the mountains in their own way. Many of the stations combine activity, coordination, water and nature: 

  • Giant wooden bear: Standing around 6 metres tall, the bear is the centrepiece, a great photo spot and the starting point for little adventures.  
  • Play and climbing tower: Slides, climbing elements and a net tunnel add plenty of activity to a day in the mountains.  
  • Water play features and water play area: Play ponds, wooden channels and shallow water zones invite children to splash around and experiment.  
  • Honey-themed area: Honeycomb-shaped climbing elements and wooden stations playfully pick up on Seebi's favourite food.  
  • Motor skills course and balance trail: Different stations help develop balance, coordination and agility.  
  • Ball and marble-run elements: Wooden balls roll along imaginative tracks and invite children to have a go.  
  • Picnic areas and places to relax: Around the play area, there is plenty of space for breaks, mountain views and a snack.

A day at Seebi's Bear World

What to know before your visit

Seebi's Bear World is located at Medrig Alm in See, right by Medrigjochbahn mountain station at around 1,800 metres above sea level. Admission is free, and the Bear World can be visited at any time during cable car operating hours with a valid summer ticket. Guests staying at a partner accommodation can use the cable cars in Paznaun valley without limit with the Silvretta Card Premium. Especially handy for families: Pushchairs can be taken on the cable car free of charge, and dogs travel free too, provided they wear a muzzle and are kept on a lead.

Seebi's Bear World play park is only a few steps from Medrigjochbahn mountain station, making it easy to reach for families. Around the play park, there are picnic areas, places to relax and options for food and refreshments, including Panoramarestaurant Medrig right by the mountain station.

For planning your visit, current information on weather, webcams and travel options is useful. The paths to Seebi’s Bear World are suitable for pushchairs, although a baby carrier or child carrier can be a good alternative.

The restaurant is right by Seebi’s Bear World and ideal for families who want to combine their day in the mountains with lunch, drinks or a short break. Versing Alm lodge and> Ascher Hütte lodge are also easy to reach from the Bear World via Zeinisbahn cable car.
