Take the Medrigjochbahn from See to the Panoramarestaurant at 1,800 m. The self-service restaurant serves traditional hut classics, which you can enjoy on the large sun terrace with views of the Verwall group and the Hoher Riffler (3,168 m). The upstairs Panolounge features a deckchair terrace for relaxation. In winter, Medrigalm is the heart of the See ski area, while in summer, it is the starting point for numerous hikes, from leisurely walks through lush meadows and streams to climbing impressive three-thousand-meter peaks.

Ascher Hütte

The Ascher Hütte lodge sits at 2,256 meters in the Samnaun group, surrounded by Blankakopf and Rotpleiskopf. Owned by the DAV-Sektion Pfaffenhofen-Asch, it is open in both summer and winter seasons. The lodge offers a cozy atmosphere and culinary delights, with breathtaking views of the Verwall group and Hoher Riffler (3,168 m). In winter, the rustic lodge with a snow bar awaits you halfway down the Ascherhütten descent, perfect for a break and refreshment. Tradition is alive and palpable here.

Versing Alpe

The cozy Versing Alpe lodge fits perfectly into the Paznaun mountain landscape and is a popular destination for all ages. A gentle 45-minute walk from the Medrigjochbahn mountain station leads to the Alpe, situated at 1,900 meters. The wide, flat path is ideal for strollers. Upon arrival, you can enjoy homemade Paznauner Almkäse and fresh milk. Children especially love the petting zoo and playground, where they can have fun. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing family outing.

Attention: closed in winter!

Alpe Gamperthun

Alpe Gamperthun lodge is one of the most beautiful and highest cow pastures in Paznaun, situated at 2,057 meters, just above the tree line. It offers stunning views of the highest peaks in Paznaun and extends to Grins. You can see the Hohe Riffler (3,168 m), Pezinerspitze (2,550 m), and Kappler Kopf (2,404 m). A small chapel near the Alpe provides a peaceful spot to rest and recharge. Enjoy homemade Paznauner Almkäse and other local specialties for a delightful culinary experience.

Hexensee Hütte

Nestled in a beautiful and serene landscape, the Hexensee Hütte sits at an altitude of 2,588 meters. Its unique location offers various hiking options in all directions, including Pfunds, Samnaun, Ischgl, and See. A special highlight is the hike to Hexenkopf (3,035 m), taking about 3 hours round trip. The nearby Hexensee, with its deep blue, clear water, is a perfect rest spot. From See, you can reach the hut via the Masnerjoch, with a round-trip hike of approximately 8 hours.

Almstüberl

The Almstüberl lodge is nestled in the Kappl ski area, offering stunning mountain views and a panoramic valley view of Paznaun. It’s a hidden gem for enjoying a hot Jagatee on the sunny terrace. The Almstüberl serves hearty Austrian traditional dishes, all delivered to your table. In summer, it’s a one-hour hike from the Dias mountain station. At nearly 2,000 meters, it offers beautiful views of the Seßladtal and Silvretta. The nearby Hausberg, at 2,200 meters, can be climbed in about 40 minutes.

Alpengasthof Dias

Looking for peace and relaxation? Then the Paznaun mountains and the idyllic Alpine Inn Dias are perfect for you! Whether summer or winter, the guesthouse is tranquil yet easily accessible, right next to the Sunny Mountain Adventure Park. After an active day, set aside your skis or hiking poles and let the warm hosts pamper you. A special tip: try the homemade delicacies – every bite is a delight! Situated at 1,863 meters, the guesthouse is an ideal starting point for numerous activities.

Edmund Graf Hütte

The Edmund-Graf-Hütte lodge is situated at 2,375 meters and is a fantastic destination for hikers and mountaineers. You can reach the lodge from Kappl in about four hours. Once there, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Verwall mountains. The hut offers cozy sleeping arrangements and delicious regional dishes. Highly recommended are the tours to the nearby Niederelbehütte lodge or the Hoher Riffler. The Edmund-Graf-Hütte is the perfect starting point for unforgettable mountain adventures and relaxing evenings in the hut.

Niederelbehütte

High above Kappl at 2,300 meters, the Niederelbehütte lodge offers stunning views of the Verwall and regional culinary delights. As a stage on the Verwallrunde mountain lodge tour, it provides plenty of options for extended hikes, with or without overnight stays. If you wish to stay longer, you can relax in one of the fourteen cozy rooms or dormitories. The lodge is perfect for active adventurers and nature lovers who want to fully enjoy the beauty of the Alps.

Sessladalpe

The traditional Sessladalpe lodge is situated at nearly 1,900 meters, about an hour’s walk from the Diasbahn mountain station towards the Niederelbehütte lodge, making it an ideal stopover. In early summer, when the meadows are lush and many mountain herbs are in bloom, the animals graze on the lower Sessladalpe. Later, they move up to the upper Sessladalpe, where you can enjoy homemade cheese, quark, and milk. Up here, nature knows no stress—just pure tranquillity and delicious regional treats.

Sunny's Rast

The possibilities at Sunny Mountain Adventure Park are nearly endless. With so many exciting outdoor activities, you're bound to get hungry. Enjoy hot and cold drinks, ice cream, sweets, delicious starters and desserts, as well as meals for small and big appetites, from Wiener Schnitzel to traditional Tyrolean Brettljause. Sunny's Rast by the lake is open daily throughout the summer season, offering everything your heart desires.

Visnitz Alpe

The Visnitz Alpe lodge is located in a quiet side valley, perfect for hot days. The path leads through a shady forest, past a rushing waterfall and the idyllic Rotweg Chapel. This spot is ideal for peace and relaxation, accompanied by the sound of water and grazing animal bells. As part of the Paznauner Almkäse region, the Alpe offers regional delicacies like cheese, butter, and milk. From here, you can hike to peaks like Mittagkopf (2,249 m) or Lahngangkopf (2,471 m) for further adventures.

Spidur Alpe

The Spidur Alpe lodge is nestled in gentle mountain meadows above the treeline, just below the Peziner Spitze (2,550 m). It offers stunning views of the Paznaun Valley, including Ischgl and Galtür, reaching to the Silvretta group. To the south, you can see the Samnaun group with the Furgler (3,004 m). Refresh yourself with a glass of fresh milk or a cool drink before your next hike. Below lies the quiet, unstaffed Durrich Alpe, an ideal, peaceful resting spot away from the crowds.
