Planning a hike, a bike ride or a family day out? The summer cable cars in Kappl & See take you straight to hiking paths, playgrounds and bike trails.
In Kappl, the Diasbahn and Alblittbahn cable cars take mountain lovers to Sunny Mountain Adventure Park and various scenic routes. In See, the Medrigjochbahn and Zeinisbahn cable cars provide access to Medrig Alm, Seebi’s Bear World and the Wellness Park.
Choose from single-ride, day and combination tickets for pedestrians and bikers. Families benefit from discounts, and See even offers its own family day ticket. With the Silvretta Card Premium, unlimited use of all open cable cars is already included. One bike transport per cable car per day is also free on all open cable cars in the Paznaun valley and Samnaun.

Operating times in Kappl
The Diasbahn cable car operates daily from 20 June to 4 October 2026 from 8:30 am to 4:45 pm. The last ascent is at 4:30 pm.
The following operating times apply to the Alblittbahn cable car:
- 20 June to 5 July 2026: Fri | Sat | Sun from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm
- 6 July to 6 September 2026: daily from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm
- 7 September to 4 October 2026: Fri | Sat | Sun from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm
The Sunny Mountain Carts are open on Alblittbahn cable car operating days from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. The carts do not operate in rain or after heavy rain.

The Medrigjochbahn cable car operates daily from 20 June to 4 October 2026 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The last ascent is at 4:30 pm.
The following operating times apply to the Zeinisbahn cable car:
- 20 June to 5 July 2026: Fri | Sat | Sun from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm
- 6 July to 6 September 2026: daily from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm

The Medrig Carts operate on Zeinisbahn cable car operating days from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The course remains closed in rain or after heavy rain.
Summer cable car ticket prices
Whether it is a leisurely hike, a family day out, a bike tour or a fast-paced ride on the Mountain Carts: Kappl & See offer a range of tickets for different summer experiences.
Alongside single-ride and day tickets, there are combination tickets for several cable cars as well as separate rates for bike transport and the Mountain Carts. Families benefit from age-based discounts, while See also offers its own family day ticket.

Family tickets & discounts
- Children under 8 use the cable cars in Kappl & See free of charge when accompanied by a parent.
- Children and young people under 17 qualify for the child rate.
- In See, a family day ticket provides an additional option.
- Guests aged 65 and over qualify for the senior rate, while guests aged 80 and over qualify for the reduced child rate.
- People with a certified disability of at least 70 % also qualify for the child rate.
- An official photo ID is required for reductions.
Take your bike or e-bike up the mountain
The summer cable cars make it easier to access bike routes at higher elevations. In Kappl, the Diasbahn and Alblittbahn cable cars transport bikes up the mountain, while in See the Medrigjochbahn cable car provides bike transport. With the Silvretta Card Premium, one bike transport per cable car per day is included in the Paznaun valley and Samnaun. The summer bus can also carry a total of up to five bikes or e-bikes free of charge on its rear-mounted bike rack. Transport cannot be guaranteed due to limited capacity.
Unlimited travel with the Silvretta Card Premium
Guests staying at a participating partner accommodation receive the Silvretta Card Premium when checking in at their accommodation. It includes the use of all open cable cars in Ischgl/Samnaun, Galtür, Kappl and See as well as in Montafon and Brandnertal. Regional buses in the Paznaun valley to and from Landeck-Zams railway station are also included.
One bike transport per cable car per day is also included on open cable cars in the Paznaun valley and Samnaun. Pushchairs and dogs wearing a muzzle and kept on a lead are transported free of charge with the Silvretta Card Premium.

With the Silvretta Card Premium, all open cable cars in both villages can be used without limit. Yes. Separate transport rates apply to mountain bikes and e-bikes. There is one important exception in See: The Zeinisbahn cable car does not transport e-bikes.
